Where should I begin? 

Determine how much you can afford. We offer a variety of options to fit your presenting budget. Begin to determine that corporate or civic backing you can gain to help cover the presenting costs. 

Work with your committee to pick a performance date. It is much easier for us to hold your date (at no cost) and cancel it later, than to find dates late in any season.

Plan as far ahead as possible. The more time you give your committee and to fundraise, the better your chances are of being successful. Many presenters plan 18 to 24 months prior to their performance date.

Guest conductor only.  
This is the most cost effective, yet time intensive option.Marcus Neiman, in costume as John Philip Sousa, will appear with your school, community, college/university, or professional band.

In addition to the above, members of The Sounds of Sousa Band will appear with your band.These professional musicians will perform with your band and are available for masterclass activities.Selected members also appear as featured soloists with your band.

For a remarkable evening of entertainment, you are encouraged to consider utilizing the services of the entire ensemble. Ensemble size ranges from a minimum of 25 musicians to 50 musicians, plus conductor, vocal soloist, and narrator.

Funding consultation.  
We will help you organize your committee, development funding materials, letters, and contact scripts. We can also help you with grant writing.
