You can start your research with the book, “The Incredible Band of John Philip Sousa” (Paul E. Bierley). Our conductor says, "Knowing Paul well, it’s probably the most accurate source I can find. Paul’s done more research than anyone I know." Also he has also written, " My only other recommendation might be to contact the Sousa Archive Library (http://www.library.illinois.edu/sousa/?p=home). They might be able to offer additional help."
